The software lecturer at Nof HaGalil College of Technology opens a door to integration into the high-tech world: the golden path to integration into industry and high-tech
Eilon Netzer, the CEO of several multinational corporations who splits his time between Hamburg, Germany, and the Nof HaGalil College of Technology, is a dreamer who also succeeds. He sees it as his genuine mission to help college students get jobs at top high-tech companies. Merav Sasson Amoyel, the college’s president, “We appreciate you. More than 40 male and female students from the Nof HaGalil College of Technology have recently registered for a special and excellent workshop, occupational promotion for integration into the high-tech industry, and the initiative of the lecturer in the software engineering major, Eilon Netzer.
Eilon Netzer, 30, a resident of Nof HaGalil and a lecturer in software engineering, is currently in charge of the orientation project for college students, which is funded by the school and flebotec.
After interviewing students to hire them at the flebotec company, “I realized the urgency of the need to direct students to employment,” says Eilon, outlining the inspiration behind the impressive preparatory workshop he instigated and to which forty students at Nof HaGalil College of Technology registered.
In collaboration with the college administration, Eilon created a custom-fitted suit for each of the college’s students and organized a workshop that provided targeted advice on where to look, how to dress, and how to apply for jobs in high-tech companies.
Eilon, “The workshop is divided into five phases: personal branding, job searching, resume writing, LinkedIn, and interview preparation. Along with the workshop, we also offer one-on-one coaching and preparation for the workplace in collaboration with mentors and suppliers in the fields of occupational psychology and career counseling, organizational development counseling, senior executives, and human resources specialist.”
It should be noted that each workshop will be accompanied by professionals in their field who will enlighten and direct the students as they begin their careers. The cost of the workshop, as previously mentioned, is doubly subsidized: once by the college and again by the flebotec company, manage by the lecturer Eilon, who views his work for the students as a mission.
“This is obviously very important news for the students at the college, focus and guidance, personal accompaniment in the ups and downs of learning on the route to firms and enterprises in which our graduates will be integrated,” said Merav Sashon Amoyal, CEO of the college, who initiated the collaboration and even informed the students about subsidizing the cost of the workshop.
